Did your builder install the 1-2 Accumulator Valve Spring that came with the kit. Mine did the same thing, this's a vid on there about how bad is was, I have to pull the valve body and install the stock spring. If most don't know the 1-2 accumulator valve spring is small about one inch long, that controls the line pressure going to the 1-2 accumulator on the side of the case. I had to install a new spacer plate and not drill out 2nd gear hole, install stock 1-2 accumulator valve spring, install stock accumlator springs with no washers, with stock tranny pressure in tune just to get mine to shift ok, still barks 2nd wot. I think it is my carbon firber band.

the 1-2 valve spring is 370 or you may have the valve 372 upside down witch would cause very hard 2nd apply

if it's a nelson tune, can almost guarantee he bumped up the shift pressure...unless you asked him specifically not to. Have him set it back to stock.

Yep I agree everything I tune I give it more line pressure makes stock tranny shift so much better, better shift quality and feel.

mine shifts hard from 1-2 with 10psi still added in the tune. i dont even have the hd2 just the vette servo. like they said above just set the pressure back to stock. either add pressure manually (shift kit) or electronically(tune) not both imo
