    Figured I post a couple more pics....

    This is what is getting the swap....yes I know the paint sucks I am planning on either red ot flat black.



    This is my tuners goat that I have been working on. Fixed blown head gaskets.

    It's got:

    Katech LS7 7.0 427
    STS rear mount
    FAST Intake/bigmouth

    Makes about 1000hp at the rear wheels on 9 lbs.











    And lastly is the Dmax


    PPE HOT 350hp tuner
    Banks turbo back
    AFE CAI
    Built Allison


    Makes 527hp and 972 ft. lbs

    wow....holy crap thats some cool toys man.

    also Flat black is the way to go with a cowl hood...sweet!
    that cam/converter set up is going to be fun. what gears are you going to run? 3:73s or 4:10s

    Thanks. The GTO is a scary mofo to drive on the street with those tires. I'm leaning more towards the flat black with a 2" cowl....Also the truck has 3.73's and a G80 so I will probably stick with that for now.

    Update

    Okay So i got a few more things done on this build. Installed fuel pump in tank, installed shift kit, and installed accessories and headers on the motor. The headers will be ceramic coated but I wanted to build exhaust. I still need to do the wiring and order my stall after pay day.

    gonna be following this thread as I am starting to jump into the same boat. What are your plans for AC, would a stock 98 vortec fuel pump work for this motor? Stock 34" Radiator work?
