    throttle body compatability

So its my understanding that the new trucks have a bigger throttle body than my 04. Could i just find a new TB and bolt it on my intake? Is the bolt pattern and electrical connectors the same? If so what year did the larger ones start?

I believe the ones you are talking about started in the NNBS 07+ I don't thing they will fit. I think they are 4 bolts opposed to your 3 bolt pattern. A TB really wont gain you that much unless you increase the area where the air is going i.e. the intake too.

Just have yours smoothed out inside in front of the flap. With an air tool and couple of bits, really easy and helps throttle response.

You need a NNBS/TBSS or LS2 intake to use a 87/90mm throttle body. For an 04 you also need the Dr X harness.
