Well I thought that the oil sending unit might be going bad so I put a manual gauge on it. With the way things go for me of corse the oil pressure is infact low. So now I have a LS6 sitting in my truck thats not worth a damn. It started when I put the new balancer on it. I wonder with the old one flopping around it might have damaged the bearings. OR maybe cause the new one was such a bear to put on maybe i pit on to far or what. Maybe the old one beat the crap of the spot on the crank where its suppose to stop and now its on too far. I DONT KNOW. I would pull my hair out but my head is shaved so thank God for that. Ive put more miles on my 01 z28 this year than its ever had in its life. Any ideas what could have happened? They shop wants to check the oil pump. I told them to pull the drain plug and look for shavings. I am just bum fuzzled on this one
