    a stall is another name for a higher "stalled" torque converter. tight stall with some gears will drive like stock if you stay out of the throttle. however, the higher the stall the higher rpms it will flash to when you hit the gas hard. it helps get you into the power band quicker and has a shorter drop in rpms between shifts to keep you in the powerband. my circle d is a little annoying city driving but mostly bc of those damn 3.23 gears. with some 3.73s or 4.10s it will feel much better.
