    more power ideas

    I have a 4.8 with CAI, Full exhaust, Descreened MAF, Detroit truetrac, 4.10s, Vett servo, nelson tune...
    Someone give me more ideas....
    I have a bunch of ideas i just wanna here everyone elses suggestions
    I wanna get quicker on this motor before i have to get a new one, still pretty low miles so no need to rush and get a new motor yet

    That TB converter i see in your list of mods, thats a TBSS converter right?
    Did it make a pretty big takeoff difference?

    no its from a tb with a 4.2L and yes for the cash spent ($135) it made a big diff. i would do that mod again if I got another truck

    A cam is gonna be the best bang for your buck right now. A Thunder Racing cam seems to be a popular choice.

    They have a bunch of different ones for the LS motors, the TR 220/220 on a 112 would work great for your application. Just go to their site and browse around http://www.thunderracing.com/shop-by...ain/Camshafts/ they've got dyno sheets for each too.

    i would say that a stall would be the best bang for his buck right now given his list of mods. the stall will work good by itself and then pull even harder if he does a cam later.

    PUT THE SCREEN BACK ON!!!!! cam and torque verter should be next.
