    started sanding yesterday
put the promoter and started priming/sanding/priming/sanding this afternoon...... i work mornings so daylight isnt very much. right now im concentrating on the a/c vent on the driver side where the light switch is on.
the plastic around the radio is also sanded down, needs a bit more before i can spray on the adhesion promoter. will be posting up pics when im done with the driver side a/c vent, hopefully by tomorrow night.

Im using the filler primer, then sand it down smooth, then more filler primer. After about 4 sets, when i look closely, looks like theres a bunch of little pores.
Any help? it feels smooth to the touch. Should I keep spraying primer, and sand it down untill I cant see the pores anymore?

Im unsure if I should just spray another 2 coats of promoter and straight to paint, then clear. HELP!!!!

The promoter is only to make the primmer stick to the plastic. You only use it once, before you prime. I would do about 4 coats of primmer and sand down smooth till there isnt any more texture, or what your calling pores. Then you ready for paint

i read on a paint thread on GMFS that the guy used promoter before the primer, and after sanding the primer down smooth, he used promoter again just before painting.

Usually when you paint it you can wet sand it and it will smooth out some... then some clear and it will fill in the pores more or all the way

Never Ever put adhesion promoter over a sprayed on surface. Its for bare plastic only. This is what I would do. 4-5 coats of high build primer should be plenty to fill the the pores and sand down smooth. I would sand down with 320 dry. Itll be quicker and easier. After that. Spray your base coat. 2-3 coats. Then spray your clear 2-3 coats. If there is any trash at all or anything in the paint, or it has orangepeel. wetsand it with 2000 and buff it out.
