    Fit it the way you like it, take it off, get it painted put it back on.

    hey bud i do paint and body your best bet is to have it painted off the truck the painter will be much more appreciative of this also if after having it painted let them put it on that that way they mess it they got to fix it. Also truck looks good lifted or lowerd just dont leave it stock.
