    more details please. what socket did you need? did you need a new intake gasket? anything else any of us should know

    You can get a Lisle socket that is made just for this job, or an extremely deep 1-1/8" socket.
    You don't have to remove the intake, but it does make it easier. You can reuse your intake gaskets as long as they aren't flattened or torn.

    yea i reused the intake o rings but mine were brand new lol..for the socket i took a deep 1 1/8'' socket and cut it in half and spot welded it to another deep well 1 1/8'' socket, worked like a charm. You dont HAVE to take the intake off but i like to see what im working on so i took mine off
