Here's a parts list and the pricing I paid. If anyone else needs it. Don't forget if your not takin the heads off you'll need an in car spring compressor I like the dual valve tool about $120 at Vinci. Also the Crane valve locks were on back order last time I checked you can have your supplier cross ref them with Comp Cams which tend to be more readily available.

    Parts from Summit Racing
    -Crane Valve Springs crn-144832 $160
    -Crane Steel Retainers crn-144944 $66
    -Trick Flow Push Rods 7.4 tfs-21407400 $87
    -Crane Valve Locks CRN-99107 $33

    Parts Store or Dealer
    -Crank bolt $6
-Timing chain cover gasket set $40
    -Valve cover gaskets $13

    CAM
At Summit part # crn-1449561 it is priced at $468.95 can pick it up from Vincihiperformance.com for $405 known as the Trucker

Looking at about $800 to a grand. Depending on part cost and shipping in your location.

Ofcourse you'll need a tune to compliment your setup, that's up to you. I had mine dyno tuned at MTI Racing in Marietta Ga. If your in the GA area there is also Vengeance, Atlanta Performance and Dynolab that I know of. All located on the northside.

    hey ThumpinZ,
Have you hade your tune dialed in after the cam install? I ask because I was reading “truckin” magazine volume 36 #9 (this months GM vs ford vs dodge) and came across a project of there’s called "novakane" were they took a 04 sierra with a 4.8 5 speed (with slipping clutch so say the article) with over 110k on the clock and are building a sport truck out of it. they have much of what you have but different makers. On the 4.8 they have
    banks monster exhaust
    bank torque tube headers
    banks ottomind programmer
    (seeing a trend here)
    banks ram air intake
and it put down 257hp and 286tq at the wheels after the mods
now i know you have higher miles then that truck and a auto trans but you also have a 5.3 to his 4.8 and a cam and h pipe
Not trying to pick a fight, just trying to make sure you get all the HP your paying for

Those numbers were after all mods and tune. I did the install myself, just had MTI tune it. I'd like more I would atleast to make 300 to the wheel before she is retired for a 6l

I donno.. Should be similar gains, but you do have some heavy rims and I've heard that can kill the numbers dyno wise but don't take my word on that. Not sure about the nelson tune either. Does anyone know if the Nelson tune will work with a cam? Or would he need it retune??

I would assume you would need to retune since the cam is changing alot and your going to have less vaccum so you would probably have poor idle quality and through a few codes.
