O sorry my bad 5.3 186,000 or so miles. No other internals, Shorty headers are the only other thing that went on with the cam.

Not firmiliar with the sotp acronym... But it sounds great nice little lope to it, has smoothed out a bit with the tune. I think i'm going to ask if they can lower the idle a little bit to bring it back, plus it jerks a little when I put it in drive when it's cold. Idling around 850, want it down around 6 where it's always been. Either way you can tell it's there and even more when you put your foot down, has a nice ring. Different tone then a stocker. Drives great on the street, awesome acceleration on the highway. Kinda has a surge in power from a stop when it hits 3000 rpm you can feel it start pulling harder throughout the range. I would recommend it, yea it doesn't produce awe inspiring numbers but for me it hit the spot. Tq is your friend and good steady torque she has... Plus I hear it's a good cam for a supercharger which is the direction I'm headin one of these days.

Depends if you want good tq through the range or just want to say hey I made this much hp! TQ is where it's at. Different cams make different power and show there colors in the rpms. You have to decide how do I want this motor to perform? Do you need high end low end mid range power. I call Vinci when I was choosing my cam and they pointed me to exactly what I wanted. Cams are the heart of your engine and more complicated than any girl your ever going to meet. Just because one cam may create more peak hp doesn't mean it's going to move you the way you want it to.
