haha ahhh oh well looks like I have to keep looking. Ive gotta wait for insurance anyways so its good someone jumped on it. I really wanna try to find an SS with lower miles and in good condition. I was tossing around the idea of getting a dodge diesel but I just cant get myself to step away from a Silverado. That Silverado was the best truck I ever owned so theres no way I can get anything but another silverado!

From what I could see the headers were pretty bad. Even if they werent to bad though it would be more of a pain than anything to get them out. I think the drivers side might be ok but its to mangled under there to really get at them. Im going to try to get some money back through insurance for some of my aftermarket stuff, I still have the receipts for everything so hopefully Ill get some of the money back Im hoping to find out in the next few days. Im just hoping I get a decent amount for the truck in general from insurance so I can pay off the loan and have a little bit left over to put down on another truck, the truck was an 04 ECSB LT fully loaded bose leather power everything so hopefully its still worth something and Ill get enough for it...Im crossing my fingers. Im hoping I come across a really good deal on either an SSS or another 5.3 with close to the same mods I had on mine so I dont have to start totally from scratch. But yes Im glad and lucky to be alive, I was really really bummed at first to see my truck like that because it was all my hard earned money into it and was a work in progress and its always cool to see your money transform something else into something cool but Im kinda getting over it now since theres really nothing I can do now.

Glad to hear you're ok. My old Silverado got taken out by a drunk, too. It really sucks to see your truck go out like that, but such is life.....
