Well, I got them sprayed and they don't look like chrome, but more of a bright metallic silver that is used on some rims. They look good from afar but far from good. I'm gonna wax them and throw them on.

did you clear them? that might dull the finish

No. Didn't clear them. But the paint seemed really soft. I put 3 coats on top of the black and let them dry overnight and they were still pretty soft. Anyone got any tips on how to make them look more chrome-like? I tried puttin them on when I had them painted black and it really didn't look right. I've thought about painting them the same color as the truck though.

Good find bro. I used a flat back base.I guess I'll try high-gloss black then another coat of chrome. I'll go ahead and take some pics and post them as well.
