lol ok... i know a repetative question, but why not djm, or belltech

I have the DJM 4/6 with the upper and lower control arms. I have had the kit on for over 10 years now and it still in great shape. I had a friend put a McGaughy's 4/6 on his 05' and the DJM kit was lower in the front. Both are great kits, just 2 different ways to drop the front. If, you go with DJM I strongly reccomend the upper control arms for alignment.

Mcgaughys spindles are better they're the same height as OE so it keeps the geometry in spec and with Belltech spindles you lose a little turning radius. Springs is springs, shackles and hangars are the same. I've heard too many bad things about DJM to even consider them. Welds cracking etc.

If you want a true 4/6 out of a McGaughy's kit you need to get the 5/7 drop. But everyone has their own opinion and way they want their truck to look.

i dont have a 4/6 but i got a djm 2/4 it rides good and everything but the quality of the product i wasnt proud of the fit and finish took alot of work and did not come with many instructions

i agree those are all good lowering kits ive had djm spindles for my s10 blazer and they didnt fit well for me...for the money but imo if you want the best over all ride you could use airride technologies kit the offer for your model truck. but thats just my 2 cents

going on 9 years with my djm and love it. sure i had to replace the ball joints eventually (one of them was bad and replaced both) but no real issues. i replaced the balljoints with some 99-03 ford f150s which some folks recommended to be better than the djm ones. havent noticed a difference but they were cheaper for sure.... happy djm user....
