    The 1.8s just arent worth it to me. Too much stress on the valvetrain imo

    A properly designed valvetrain using 1.8 rockers works great on the LS engines.

    A person should NEVER EVER just bolt on parts and fire the engine up. Checking clearances, geometry, pushrod length, valve seat pressure, coil bind, etc, should always be done. Sorry that you had to learn the hard(expensive) way.
