You don't need a turbo timer with an STS kit. The check valve on the oil inlet keeps the oil from pooling in the turbo's sump after you shut it down. All you need to do is let your truck idle for about 30 seconds after you park it, then shut it down. I've had my STS kit for over 2 years and I've never had a problem with the turbo being too hot before shut down. I check the intake pipes regularly for oil and they're always dry, meaning the tubro's seals are fine, meaning the turbo isn't getting too hot before shutdown. The turbo sits far enough away from the engine's heat to not get hot enough to justify a turbo timer.![]()
