Angry '02 siliverado electric door locks

i have an '02 silverado w/a 5.3. my electric door locks on drivers side and passenger do not work. i think it has to do with the drivers isde being that it controls both sides. does anyone know where to start looking or has had this problem. everything else works. my keyless remote, windows, mirrors etc. no locks.

if you unplug the driver side lock switch and it works, it's the switch.

The locks work with keyless remote or no?

If you unplug the harness from the back of the drivers side switch panel then neither of the doors will lock or unlock electronically. Also check the fuse/circuit breaker. How did they stop working? Did you pull the door panels recently?

Hey, that's how mine are behaving right now. Still haven't found the soluation, but I can hear the relay and they don't actuate. Mine have been completely dead for a few months now, they just slowly stopped working. I think a voltage spike caused by a frozen battery and the autostart may have been contributing factors.

well that's what is puzzling me. i can hear the relays clicking each time i hit the switches. locking and unlocking. so to me that says there isn't any broken wires. i think it's a switch in the drivers door. just not sure which one. i found three. i'm about to start pulling switches.

Try replacing one of the lock actuators and see if they work again. That is the only other thing I can think of.
