so it sounds like those MT 28 x 11.5 x16 tires will work fine on stock GM NBS 16in wheels? but aren't those only like 8in wide?

and what about running big tires up front and small out back?(32" vs 28")

im getting some hoosier 28x10x16 full slicks. They are actually wider then the mt streets and being a full slick should hook better

Would it not be a good idea to run 32 in front tires and 26 through 28 in rears?
I run stock wheels and tires up front (270/55/16). I use the stock wheels that came on my truck. The ET Streets work fine on them and there are a lot of people running them as well.

The stock tahoe wheels I have are only like 6.5" wide, maybe 7" so the tire is a little bubbly looking but I had no trouble when mounting and balancing them, they deffinatly need a wider rim! But I pick up both rims for $10 and I couldn't pass it up! They work for me! The first time at the track with them I was running 20psi because I had to drive home on them, and I was spinning pretty hard! So tomorrow I'm hitting the track again but my buddy is going an I'll just throw them on there instead of driving out there on them! I'll be playing with the psi anywhere from 10- 12 psi! If I hook I
Sure I'll be in the 13's my 60' spinning was a 2.1 to a 2.3 so if I hook I hope to break the 2.0 barrier! And iF so I'll be happy! I really want a 13 NA cuz at the end of the month I'll have a 150 ready!
