I just don't feel I need to do a swap when I feel my motor is a perfectly good motor still. That's all i'm putting to it is 9-11psi, and i'm good. I just wanted to add on meth, new heads, and maybe a shot. I keep being told to just do a 6.0 swap, and i'm just not buying it for some reason. I keep hearing the 5.3 is a strong motor, and to stick with it too because there's more potential in it. Thanks for the help everyone. Are there any suggestions at all? like bottom end?

also to get 500 hp i wouldnt consider 2 power adders for such a low hp level goal. 500 is roughly 9-11 psi. two power adders is just an excuse for the lack of another. Plus its more complications especially for such a goal as of 500.

i think ducky has been unhurt for several years at 500ish with his 5.3, trevor1 has well over 600 on a 5.3 for many years now, im sure theres others but those are just to name a few

I was thinking of doing that. Been looking online for something.

I have an brand new forged lq9 with 317's machined blue printed waiting for me if I want it. Originally what I was going to do was put that in. I just don't know if using the money for that motor, and using it to install all of this would be the right choice. If i did the motor swap, i'd come outta pocket. If I didn't, i'd get all the upgrades i'm talking about. meth, nos, heads...opinions on this? thanks guys.

I guess we don't know how to handle the power...is that what you're saying? Seems like an awful lot of people have had the same problem...must be a f**kin conspiracy.......

I have the roush kit. Nothing is for sure with this kit. Even if I try re-keying it, it's not definite. Only one person so far has done it, and there's really no feed back on that. That's why re-keying it is kinda up in the air. I never said I wouldn't, i'm asking for opinions from everyone on the board. I'm just throwing my thoughts out there, and want to hear what you guys have to say.
