i'd def get caltracs, and change out the airshocks...or just lower the pressure when you're racing.
I had them on my camaro, would air them up for street, so it had a nice rake to it, and put them down to like 10psi when racing, so the back would squat and transfer weight.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
Edelbrock IAS, Rancho Adjustables, or Bilstein shocks. Id go with either of the first two but if budget is in question then Bilstein works great.
