oh shoot 2500ak is right. I wasnt thinking. The converter I have is great except they tell you that towing is strongly discouraged because of the ring used to mount it. I dont tow/haul more than a motorcycle or four wheeler so its fine with me.

Well I just took possesion of the 80E. The guy had me confused w/all the tranny's he had. It actually came from a '00 3500 w/a 5.7 gas engine w/67k miles. After tax and core it was $747.00 but if I take "any" transmission back I get a $150 core back. I know where my TH350 is going lol. As far as towing goes, the most towing my truck will see is my 14' jon boat.
So many more parts to buy but at least the most expensive stuff is now out of the way. Thanks again for the input guys.
