I would like to hear Allen's opinion on this one.

    Hey Mark,
It's a cool little gadget from Moates.net I need to get one of these for the ol' truck. I see it being useful in a truck that goes from one extreme to the other, for example my truck.
I run lots of timing and high boost with race gas at the track, but on the street i run med boost, 93oct, and low timing and drive it on the streets. This device would make it easier to swap tunes, but not needed if you do your own tuning.

I see most guys that have dual boost controllers, dual setups of any kind, usually just keep it on one setting. I mean really, who's gonna run 5psi on the street when they can switch to 15psi, haha.

It's neat, just not really needed, you got the iat mod for the nitrous setups, meth spray from low to high boost, laptops and hptuners to load in a second tune.

Makes swapping between files convenient though.

I'll try to remember and get one, then post up.

not much to say about it, hope this helps,

    allen

gotcha. I guess its almost as easy to just get HP tunners and move files.

I like the device and will probably get one, but it's just useful if you wanna go back and forth right away.
When I drive the truck home I still keep the race tune installed, even a few drives after that, so it's no immediate rush for me to swap files.
Sometimes I don't even change files, I just make sure there is no KR when driving on the street and most of the time I have my laptop with me.
Matter of fact I can't think of when I've loaded the detuned file, lol,

Just keep some race gas in it, lol.

I'll get one soon and let you know if it's worth it.

Cool deal man. Cause it would be cool to have a race gas tune.

I could see this being useful for a shop to push on it's customers that don't want to swap pcms, don't wanna learn how to tune, but just want one tune for race gas and one for street.
Once done, it would save time for the tuner, so he wouldn't have to always load retunes before and after races.

ya, you need one mark, haha jk.
