    Question High volume oil pump

    Guys whats a good brand of oil pump for my 08' 6.0??lookin for a high volume...what r u guys running?

    i run a moroso high pressure oil pump on my 6.2
    2008 GMC CCSB 6.2/6L80e swap
    Gen IV 5.3/60e swap 1994 ecsb W/T

    i'm sure the moroso is very similar, we use this one all the time! 45-50psi at idle, 80psi at wot.

    im gonna end up ordering that one,think thats the one ray was telling me about,just couldnt remember the name.

    The factory pumps can be modified to boost pressure. SLP makes a shim for just a few bucks to put in the spring for more psi. Just a thought.

    i wouldnt run a high volume pump..ive seen what will happen with a high volume pump and high RPMs......id get the high pressure

    No need to spend money on an SLP shim when you can just use a simple washer.

    There really isn't a need to run a high volume pump if you have stock clearances. A few extra psi doesn't hurt... a 0.105 thick shim will give you another 10-15 psi....
