    2 door 4x4 to 2wd conversion

Hey everyone, i just swapped a 6.0 into my 1993 2door yukon and have decided to just go 2 wheel drive. I know i am going to have to use a two piece drive shaft, i am thinking i can use the center bearing from a 2wd tahoe but does anyone know what drive shafts i would need? anything i can get from other trucks?

They made that year in 2wd. Just get a 2wd tranny/driveshaft from a junkyard.

Don't they share a wheelbase with a RCLB pickup? There's millions of them around to find a decent driveshaft and tranny.

the closest thing that i can find is an astro van. i think 111'' wheelbase and mine is 111.5". its probably easier to just have one made, i found a guy online that will make a 3" aluminum shaft to your specs for $255, not bad since the factory shaft is $244 and its like a steel pencil...
