On a stock LS1 w/ the STS turbo at 5psi it picked up 10hp. They ran the car back to back on the dyno. The impressive thing wasn't the 10hp it was the dyno curve.
The low end torque came in a lot faster and higher. It changed the dyno curve all the way through the rpm's.
It's the same for the n/a cars. Thats why I think you feel such a difference.
