    bigger spare...where you have em?

I have a 315/75/16 spare. Will it fit under the truck somehow? (I highly doubt it'll fit in stock place...was going to try and rig something up tomorrow)

I am SICK of it just laying in bed. Anyone have any decent looking setups? Right now it's just on a rusty steelie wheel, but i wouldn't mind throwing a cheap cover/coat of paint on it, if the face will be visible. Tempted to weld something up that slides in my hitch that the wheel can bolt down to, and sit where tailgate SHOULD BE (since I don't have one)

And the "tiregate" idea is on the backburner until the motor is done. Is going to take too much time/money to do right now.

I have some old 6 bolt axles laying around. I was gonna cut one and weld it to a plate on a angle and mount it in the front o the bed. No bars spidering out, just quick and simple.

I thought about that, but it blocks the entire window. I would have to have it at a pretty steep angle. I KIND OF want a toolbox, to put my straps/hi lift jack in..because right now, there is just a plastic tote laying in my back seat.

After a little cutting, I got it under there. Even WITH my body lift (bumper in stock spot) it's hanging down a lil too far for my liking.

Not sure if it'll stay there or not.

The "tool box" I had for truck (the rectangle ones that just sit in bed, don't have a ledge that holds onto sides) isn't wide enough for my hi-lift. Which was the WHOLE reason I was moving the spare. I want that thing out of my back seat! It used to go on rollbars, not sure I can make brackets to hold it onto frame (though i'm probably going to try)

36" is biggest that will fit without removing hitch.

I had it in bed, and looked like GARBAGE, I really need to stop putting money in the motor, and fix my tailgate lol.

My buddy never carries one either, my luck, the day I don't have it, i'll get a flat at work, and be SCREWED. Not like someone can throw it in their backseat and run it up to me. IT'S HUGE.
