giving up on long travel for now.

well ive done alot of the math and to get long travel for my truck..... lets just say i can buy a 4x4 rig for that much. SO that being said. im going to start saving for the 4.5" CST lift and the Blitz UCAs. and eventually throw some coil overs on and some fiber glass flares. should be pretty tits for a 2wd! LOL

didn't you sell the big 4wd...cuz you wanted to be lower and faster?

(not knocking it...just reminding how slow big tires make things)
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

yes. yes i did..... and didnt i post a thread that said that was most likely not going to happen.

EDIT: sometimes i wanna jump off a bridge for trading that truck in. then i look back and remember how much i hated that torsion bar front end and am happy with my choice. i being big but next time i got BIG will be with a solid front axle.

Why would you want long travel are you racing the truck? Wide long travel up front and white fenders= useless and ugly.

dude, for real? long travel is the! and you paint the fenders homie. alot of folks rock the panda look because they get hammered on before they get painted so they figure whats the point. but im going to go with a midtravel kit and PAINTED fenders if i still have this truck in some time. i really want back in a nnbs 4x4. i love the torsion bars being gone.

6inch lift on torsion bar suspension = broken suspension parts and semi useless

long travel = functionality, performance, and pure awesome

Long travel would be sweet but your right it is $$$$. Any reason your going with CST vs. doetsch for the spindles? Im in the process of of gathering the parts for mine. I'm Planning on doetsch spindles, bilstein shock and 3" blocks in back.

sorry for the slow reply. but no, no reason. just CTS has a whole 4.5 inch lift with brake lines and all. just make it easier on me. i know a guy on gmfullsize that has the spindles your going with and a spacer and it looks great.
