they out preform my 5.7 cuz they have been tweeked for 10-15 more years i think chevy should look back into the old 350 it lasts forever and can be built for some crazy speed

No one's flaming you...it's just the facts. A stock 5.7 will not perform as well as a stock 5.3. I had a 95 ECSB with a 350. My 07 with the original 5.3 is light years ahead. I like the 350 motor...it's a classic. But Chevy moved in a different way...for the better. Reminiscing is fine but it will leave you in the dust. Now lots of people have done lots of things with their 350s to make lots of power. Maybe one of them will chime in.
