    oil consumption

What kind of oil consumption, if any, do all of you see? I've heard of our engines consuming oil when a good amount of power is made but I'd like to get some good input on the matter. I lose oil slowly over time (not a lot), I have a catch can and I don't see as much oil in there as I lose. My compression is good too. Could this be deemed "normal" for a more powerful LS enigne??????

Mines never low. My catch can only gets about a table spoon of blow by every like 3 months when I actually check it

Mom's stock tahoe loses about a quart every 3k miles....130k on the clock. It gets gas, random oil changes.

Mine has 175k on the clock...I beat the hell out of it, am running 0-30 synthetic and can't notice any loss (changed oil every 5-6k miles)

Buddy's ls1 fully built, with like 35k original miles will puff some smoke everytime he gets on it, just depends on the motor.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
