If they weren't ticking before you put the cam in, then yes. First thing I would do is replace the springs. If you still have the stockers in there, they're probably binding and could be the source of the tick. I think they're only good for a little over 0.500" lift. If the lifters are still ticking after that, then you need to measure lifter preload and get the right length pushrod.
