blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
choppy cam in a stock 5.3 is an SOB to get correctly tuned

LQ9 built 4L60 LTs and a billion miles on the speedo!
want choppy? go with the smallest Comp Thumper cam... that would lope pretty good.
But any cam with durations above 212 with a 112 LSA will lope on 5.3
