i used the POWER BALL lol and mothers polish. total it cost me like 30 bucks but it really cleaned up the wheels. im gunna hit them again when i get the time. im just having trouble finding the center caps.

Just get some standard external thread lugs and use the centers off of newer 2500 rims.

but i'm calling bs on the mothers ball. I tried one with my old mickey rims, when they were like 6 months old. After 2 hrs, I gave up and did the rest by hand in half the time.
These welds were pretty rough after winter. I ended up sanding them down with 400, 800, 1000, 1200 wetsand and polishing. Still need some work, but they shine good enough. I'm tempted to just spray clear on them next time, HATE polishing wheels.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
good idea. i like the nnbs centers better though.
and yes i really did use the mother ball. i am going to spray some sort of clear coat on them when i get done with them.

If your rims are really bad just wet sand them first, and then polish them with a rag and cream. They will come brand new.
