    Is factory oil pan gasket reusable

    im doing a engine swap to everything off to inspect and saw that the factory oil pan gasket is rivieted to the pan so i got a replacement but wasnt sure if the gasket was reusable and wether or not to just drill the rivets out and put the new one in

    They are riveted on? What the hell for? Are all that body style like that?
    2010 Silverado ECSB LS 4x4. Only mods so far are a K&N drop in filter and a Rough Country 2" front level kit

    Yes, they are all riveted from the factory. I'd imagine it's for faster, easier assembly with minimal error possibilities.
