You have the same problem i had, i bought some EV6 injectors for an 04 avalanche 8.1L, and i'm installing them into and 02' model truck with ev1 connections, you can either buy the ev6 connectors and splice them into you puel injector harness, or you can buy the adapters which have a male ev1-female ev6 connection
