Thread: 88-98 LS1 front Coil Springs?

    88-98 LS1 front Coil Springs?

I installed the LS1 T56 into the truck and the front end sits way too high. I have 2" drop spindles and Moog 648 springs. When I sit on the rad support it barely drops (270 lbs.). I had a set of 2" drop coils way back in the day but they made the truck ride like a hay wagon. Any ideas?

Cut the coils, bottom end, until you get the height you like. Be sure to drive it so it settles in between cuts.

What Red said. I know the old BellTech 2" lowering springs were part number #4400, if you want to find a set of those.
