i loved my avalanche 2500's bds lift, imo. i think when the new wears off the torsion/body lift you will regret not getting the 6" lift. you find or buy tires yet?
here is a link to see my old avalanche with the lift.

i always wanted an avalanche, just never could afford it, but man that thing looks great. And i think i will just run some 33 inch retreaded mud tires they are like 100 bucks brand new. I figure that sounds pretty good to me.

my body lift was like 280 from summit...came with EVERYTHING except gap guards (which I still don't have)

    bumper brackets/steering extension/etc etc.

On a budget, it's the way to go. Doesn't mess with factory geometry, no added stress on balljoints/tie rods/etc. DO NOT go with a cheap suspension lift.

I'd do body lift now, then when you have money, suspension later on.

Just a body lift, 33's are perfect. Just a suspension lift 35s are perfect, with both 36/37s are about perfect 38s with trimming.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

or, do the body lift and when your 33's wear out do the 6" for a total of 9" and then?, just like smokin c?#*k

280 i can probebly get that money together pretty quickly, did summit make a leveling kit to, that would work with the body lift.
