    it wouldnt look any more goofy than a lifted truck, and lifted trucks dont look goofy. when you break it down what will you be saving by buying a body lift, bumper brackets, gap covers, and all the bs involved like the fan shroud and on and on, and then on top of it keyways, blocks, and getting your front end lined up? when you buy (even a low end kit) it usually has every thing you need to do it right, other than maby it has low grade bolts. at the end of the body-torsion lift you will be in over half of a true lift.
    procharger p1sc, nelson tune, 42# marine injectors, walbro 255, lt's, ory, 4" volant cat back, PerformaBuilt level 2 pro race trans, trans. cooler with e fan, 2500 stall, aem wideband, energy bushings, spohn perf. trailing and panhard rods, mb & gear alloy 22's ( ya 2 sets, im big ballin), ss brake lines, drilled & slotted rotors, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla,
    and ya it will beat a hemi.

    the biggest problem is i just dont have the money and i want something for this summer. And i found a few lift kits for about a grand but i want to have in installed by a shop, i just dont trust myself to do all the work, but i figured i could do a body and level kit. thanks for the advice, i will get a better lift in a few years.

    sweet, thank you, The 6 inch lift is starting to look better and better. but i just dont have the cash. thanks again for the links.

    i loved my avalanche 2500's bds lift, imo. i think when the new wears off the torsion/body lift you will regret not getting the 6" lift. you find or buy tires yet?

    i always wanted an avalanche, just never could afford it, but man that thing looks great. And i think i will just run some 33 inch retreaded mud tires they are like 100 bucks brand new. I figure that sounds pretty good to me.
