    how are the new 6 speeds holding up?

    are they any better than the ole 60e or is it gonna be another disaster?

    The 6L80 and 6L90's are holding up pretty well, I have beating the shit out of ours and it has yet to have an issue
    2005 RCSB 4.8L TVS1900 9 psi
    2005 ECSB 4.8L TVS1900 5 psi

    That makes 9.6L @ 14psi

    Except they don't shift well at higher HP

    i did notice that the torque management in these things is absolutely brutal

    We haven't seen too many issues with them at our dealer, I've had maybe 10 apart in the last 2 years. Most for bad sealing rings causing a harsh/flare shift on the 2-3 shift. Had one burn the 4-5-6 clutch back out due to a bad piston seal. Other than that they've been pretty good!

    I drove a friends G8 with a 6-speed. It was amazing. Very quick from a dead stop. He hasn't had any trouble with his yet.

    Ask Sprayeddenali bout the new six speeds.. Im pretty sure he toasted one pretty quickly.
