Your vehicle was probably tuned for the current IAT location. I'm assuming you can get a sensor off most GMs where it is just a 2 wire, that plugs into the intake. Then use the 2 wires from your current MAF housing. (go to junk yard, take plug/sensor)

I would talk to the tuner tho.
