I have stocklq9 cam, push rods and springs. What kind of project would require a broken or stock cam? A warranty project?

Its nothing like that lol, I just got my own place and have been a fan of top gear. I just love that coffee table they got made from an engine block so I reseached it, I saw people have made a lamp out off a camshaft.
