Sweet run! I shot that video and saw your truck run all day. It looks stock, but it moves!

The owner with the vette was Kevin, one of the guys that put on the event, and he got razzed by his friends for getting out launched by a 'stock' truck. He enjoyed the race and was pretty surprised by how fast your truck is.

One thing I wondered the whole day long was if you had something in the bed that kept the truck planted as well as it was during launches? I'm not at all familiar with what is done to the trucks to make them launch, so forgive any ignorance in the question.

Good to be here. It's cool to see what these trucks can do. Any judging by cory 5.3's truck, those mods make the truck pretty potent. I had no idea that the trucks could be so quick and look so stock.

Wow, I can't believe it hooks so well just like that, but it makes sense. My vette has coupe springs and z51 or z06 (can't remember which) struts so the springs absorb the shock of the launch and allow it to hook. I haven't had a chance to run it yet, but the previous owner got 7.50s out of it without spray and 6.80s on nitrous with a 1.60 something 60ft. I haven't had a chance to run it myself, but I really, really need to bring it out for this event. It would be a lot of fun, especially against the x2.

I had no idea you could put a z06/ls6 cam in the 5.3. Definitely makes a big difference. I wonder what type of power you could get with a slightly wilder cam and a tune. Have you done anything with intake and exhaust?

Thank you for the compliments on the video. I didn't think it was my best, but I'm glad you liked it.
