i think he did read the rules and is asking if there's any way to make an exception because he needs these wheels gone so he can buy an engine (i'm guessing sale is time-sensitive).

Time sensitive or not. I have not determined if he is a scammer or not. Nothing against him or anyone else but that is another reason that the rule is in place. I just don't trust any bran new members.
