I can't stand when stupid people.....

I hate when stupid people butcher a vehicle because theyre too stupid to do something right or have someone else do it for them.... My friends brother, for example. He's buying a 1979 Ford F-150 for $700... I know I know... shouldn't care 'cause it's a Ford... but the truck has 319,xxx miles.
It used to be a ranch truck. It's covered in surface rust.... The hood latch is rusted shut.. His solution? Cut a hole in the hood big enough for him to get in there and cut the hinges and whatever else he thinks is keeping him from opening the hood... "the truck doesn't even run" The problem? the battery is dead... His brilliant solution, replace the motor...
I tried to explain that WD40, Liquid Wrench or one of their sister products would probably free the latch, and all he needed was a new battery... well of course he's gonna do it the ignorant way.... the motor he wants to put in it? "one that runs" I could have hit him with a wrench if i thought it would help.....
    end rant

Post your stupid-people stories here.... we can all use the laughs!!!

Racing is a real sport. Because football, baseball, soccer, and golf only require one ball.

snowman46750-josh couldnt wait for me to bring him a jack to change his oil so.....he decided it would be a good idea to drive up on a flat spare tire instead of waiting 20 minutes.... i get a call less than 10 minutes before i show up with the jack.... he is freaking out because when he backed off the flat tire and rim it got stuck between his tire and his fiberglass aftermarket front front spoiler/lip and broke it into pieces. me and my friend adam got a good laugh out of it when we showed up with the jack, now he has a fiberglass/ductape front lip. looks great lol

I do not associate with said ignorant idiots. Gladly help people out, but when they're so stupid that you just know it's gonna end badly it's not gonna happen. Case in point, back in school buddy got an old Sunflower or Cavalier (high school is a little blurry) thing was fairly clean except for a paint bubble on the roof. I've done my share of body and paint work and still detail on the side, so he asked me if I could just polish it out. Nope. Why not? Because my polisher will just tear the paint off and leave you with the rust. Fine f*** you then. Next monday I see the thing in the parking lot, patches of aerosol primer all over the roof. HAHA stupid.

i got a classic that still gets laughs around the bonfire.a few years back my buddys car needed new pads out front and he just had midas put new fronts on his girlfreinds(now wife)car couple months before for like 150-200$,so i told him i would save him money.so after about an hour of changing his front pads and BSin his wife pulls up in the drive about 2 cars lengths away,so i drop the car back down of the stands and i told him to pump up brakes so he did.so after about another hour they leave he gets in she gets in her car and they both start backing down the drive when he slams into her because he couldnt stop, why do you ask.well when i told him to pump up the brakes he later confirms that he might have been pumping the accelerator.there wasnt really any damage except for his pride.
Nothing stock...I either broke it or replaced it before I broke it!!
