SOCAL is my kind of livin'.Not!

Love Texas! Wouldnt let one little bad weather day detour me anyways...although Wichita Falls does kind of suck. The only thing to do up there is hunt. But a SOCAL lover and hunting dont coincide usually.

I don't live in Texas but I have spent 2 weeks in Ft Bliss Texas and 2 weeks in Red river army depot. The 2 weeks at Red River was fantastic. Me and the wife are strongly considering retirement in Texas. Even thought it is many years away. East Texas is great. I have been to California and every state along I-10. I'll take Texas any day.

why wait until retirement? houses here are cheap and our job market looks better than alot of places in the US. people in other states usually shit when i say what i paid for my new house.

There's a Kevin Fowler song that fits me (and sounds like some of y'all too) it's called 100% Texan... some parts are pretty redneck but its still ok... take a listen you'll see what I mean.

Racing is a real sport. Because football, baseball, soccer, and golf only require one ball.

Gotta have retirement money. M job is not a normal job. Sure I could relocate now but then I would not be my own boss and my income level would plummet.

im sick and tired of this the people suck comment that everyone makes. Not because im from Socal but because people suck everywhere. Anywhere and every where your going to go you are going to find people that are jerks and "suck". stop singling a place out because you had a bad experience. theres lame people all over the world..... oh and btw its 76 degrees out and not one cloud in the sky with a slight breeze. perfect day and has been like that all week.
