I have a couple of questions about these header's also, I am thinking about buying a set but I am unsure of a couple of things. First off, has anyone who is running these noticed any loss of low end torque because of how large the primary tubes are, I researched a lot about header's for a gen 1 motor before I did this swap, and I know the primary size really can make a difference in torque down low. Second question is about their high temp coating they offer is it worth it, I at least would want them to be painted with good quality high temp paint, as this truck will see lot's of shows. Thanks in advance.

I used them when I did my swap and couldn't feel any lack of bottom end power. I can't really say how they compare to manifolds or smaller tube headers as how they're all I've ran on it. If I buy another set they will definitly be coated, the paint that comes on them will be half worn off before they ever leave the box they're shipped in. I'm planning on having jet hot coat mine while the trucks torn down.

+1. the paint is already worn off mine and i have only taken them out of the box a few times to show them off. Schoenfeld wants another $225 to ceramic coat them. I said forget that and will just coat them myself.
