    mirrors

I swapped mine today.. put on tow mirrors with turn signals... The mirrors plug into the back of the window switchs on bolth sides... do you have power mirrors already?? if so i bet its pretty easy task... pull your window switch and turn it over and post a pic if it has 2-3 empty plug in on the back....

I also recently installed the HD mirrors on my 06 Crew Cab. I have heated, power, with turn signal. Mine originally had the turn signal so it was a plug and play install. Nice upgrade, especially if you tow anything.

You have to remove the door panel to get to the back of the door switches. There is either 1 or 2 7mm screws that hold it in place.

There is one underneath the grab handle, there is another behind the door lock slide. On a 2006 there is most likely also a torx screw toward the front or rear of the panel underneath a little cover.

I meant that there are 1 or 2 screws holding the switches in place, not the door panel. The door panel has 2 7mm screws(one under arm rest and the other behind the door lock), a plastic "pin", most likely a torx screw, the sail panel, and trim around the actual handle need to be removed. Also don't forget to unplug the door panel light before trying to pull the panel away from the door enough to unplug the switches.

I got my set off of E-Bay from Discount Body Parts. I found them last spring but didn't have the coin to purchase them then. Looked on E-Bay again for almost a year before I found them again in November. This time when I found them on sale I found the money to get them bought. I did not want to make the same mistake twice. I paid like $225 for the set. Power, heated, with the turn signal.

This is the same as the ones I bought, unfortunately they are more expensive now.
