    1990 gas tank size????

I guess that during the process of installing my new fuel pump I manager the mess up the sensor on my fuel pump hanger that makes the gas gauge work.

So my question is.....is there any rule of thumb on which trucks got which size gas tank? I know oreillys web sit say that there are 22gal 31 gal and 33 gal or something like that. I just wanted to know if there was any way of telling what size it was by just looking at it?

I need to order a new assembly and just want to make sure I get the right one.

The truck is a 2wd short bed that originally had a 350/700r4 in it.

I just looked in the owners manual for my 92 and it says short beds gas engines are a 26 gal tank. Idk if the 90 will be the same or not.

    My 91 is 25-26 gallons

I sure if you go into Oreilleys and tell them your truck they can get you the right pump assembly.
