When i get my cowl hood, i'm going to remove the Vortec plastic cover from the intake, then build a box around the intake and is a tad higher, but will be flush against the cowl indention. The box will be just right for a fbody , square filter. Then the front or sides will have tubing that routes from under the filter into the TB, it's hard to explain, but if i have enuff room, that's what i want to do.

If i don't have enuff room, i want to just build a box on the radiator shroud that houses a square filter, then the routes to the TB.

    any suggestions?

I guess i'll stop eating, starting today, i may be too weak though, heheheh

It's running good and I am going to order LS1edit tomorrow if all goes well. I am going to do that online pay thing. I am hoping to get it and be able to get a few more horses out of here. I may have a oppurtunity for a 6.0 liter or a 5.7 liter. I not sure about the price yet but that would be sweet to pick up. What one you prefer?
