i found out that shell gas is not good to run. there "NEW" clean tech fuel or what ever it is has nitrogen in it and it burns super hot and burns the carbon out. it also cause detonation.

i always fill up with premium from walmart or other grocer's, then i pour in a 2 dollar bottle of Oreilly's Octane Booster. With that combination, my truck runs great. I put regular in the tank once when i first bought my truck and it got 16 MPG on the Highway, ran it almost dry and filled it up with premium next and gas milage was up to 22mpg. Not sure exactly what caused such a jump, but i'm pretty sure most newer vehicles are optimied for premium anyways

who said anything about sams club or joe blows gas? i said hess, hess is a big name in gas, i always run super from shell or bp but i had to stop 2 times at a hess within two weeks and both times my engine light came on for about a day then went off, i just thought it was a little awkward, never had that happen, they probably just had some camel piss mixed in with there last delivery!

in jersey we only have bp, hess, exxon, shell, and some small mom and pop places that i would never go to, i never fill more than a quarter to a half a tank , to keep weight off the truck and keep gas mileage up when my pedal is not threw my grill. besides we got gas stations every quarter mile so i can drive to work and back with my gas light on. hahaha
