2 runs again...first run i just lite the tires for a full 1/8th mile...looked cool, but did jack ****

    second run:

    60 ft--2.5119
    330 ft--6.4587
    1/8 et--9.6064
    1/8 mph--78.66
    1000 et--12.1898
    1/4 et--14.57
    1/4 mph--97.93
    finish margin--1.3376

very happy with the run. i took some people's advice. spooled it up some more before take off...let some air outta the tires....pulled the pass headlight. i still had to roll softly into the take off, even had to let off again due to wheel spin. with traction and a better launch, i think i can get into the 13s.

BTW: the truck i beat: Dodge Hemi "rumble bee" reg cab. :head: homie ran a 15.515 @87.48. stomped him

Good job. Are you still running the "one tire fire"? or did you get a locking diff yet?

Thats a nice time man. You got enough speed to get into the high 13's, you just need to get a good launch in there. What size gears are you runnin? Some drag radials will put you in the zone. Nice time though!
    Had a 91 SB, Open diff, 3.08 gears, stock LS1/T56. 14.8@95.9...sold.
    Now, 90 C1500 350tbi/NV3500....just bought a 5.3...need T56, Swap parts.....

Not bad at all!!! Your 60ft is terrible, lol, but we all understand, and ls1 and not traction will cause this.
If you can get your 60' to a 2.2 or so, you'll be in the 13's for sure!!!

congrats on the time, your mph shows a good run,

How long before we get to see some progress pics (other than the room of parts)?
